The farm is a mixed livestock arable unit producing oats, barley, straw and hay to maintain a breeding flock of 200 ewes. The lambs are sold on in the autumn for finishing or kept for replacements.

Loanend farm is located in the Grampians in North East Scotland at an altitude of approximately 310 metres above sea level at the moment!!!

Situated approximately 35 miles from Aberdeen City, it is well within commuting distance.
